MANUFACTURER AND EXPORTER REGISTRATION SYSTEM IN CHINA

Since 1st Oct 2012, to ensure the food and quality of imported food, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (GAQSIA) has established registration systems for all importers, exporters and overseas manufacturers. This system is to facilitate the traceability of Food from the manufacturer through the entire supply chain to the Chinese retailer.
